10 TIPS & TRICKS FOR A LONGER LASTING WEAR 

1.  Wash and condition regularly. Wash before every & every install for the best results. Conditioning your extensions with every wash is highly recommended to allow moisture back into your hair. 

2.  Tie your hair up every night for extra security after an install. Sleep with a silk or satin bonnet, scarf, or pillow. 

3.  Use a heat protectant whenever using heat for a protectant shield. High heat settings with no shield equals change to your hair keratins strands, causing your hair to being prone to damage (Split ends, shedding, poor elasticity, etc.)

4. Never scratch your lace. One of my biggest recommendations when it comes to getting the best wear of your wig. Scratching your lace causes excess shedding & matting and most times when noticed it too late. You want to avoid scratching the lace for this reason. 

5. Don't pull your wig from your lace piece. If you need to pull the wig up grab the actual cap.

6. The one many may not want to hear but let your extensions breathe. Just as you would treat your natural hair give them a break. It ok to switch your hair up from time to time. Your hair is an investment therefore treat it to its best ability.

7. Removing your wig every night may be a struggle for my girls who like their installs but if you're able to remove your wig every night you will notice a huge difference. This is highly recommended and reduces extra wig maintenance because your wig will still look good as new.

8. Always comb your hair from the ends to the top for less shedding and proper detangling.

9. Don't use extra oils in your extensions as this will weigh them down causing them to . If you would like more moisture proceed with washing & conditioning your hair then adding a small amount of oil based heat protectant and allow you hair to air dry. 

10. Stay away from alcohol based products. This will cause your hair to matt and tangle, leading to excessive shedding. Please be sure to read ingredients on all products when caring for your extensions.

  • ALLOW YOUR WIGS & EXTENSIONS TO AIR DRY

      If possible let your extensions blow dry. This will allow the moisture and luster to lock it. Also, the less heat the healthier your hair will be.
      • WASH AND CONDITION HAIR BI-WEEKLY

        Treat your extensions as you would your hair growing from your scalp. Your extensions is100% raw human hair & it is not going to maintain its-self.
        • USE MINIMAL HEAT 

          If & when using heat, avoid everyday use. Our hair extensions are 100% raw so heat is only recommended if desired.
          • USE RAT TAIL COMB TO SCRATCH LACE

            Please don't hesitate to use the end of a rat tail comb if your scalp has an itch. Or patting is also highly recommended. 

            • DON'T BLOW DRY YOUR EXTENSIONS

            Less heat is always recommended whenever possible & if not needed when styling blow drying is not recommended.

            • DON'T NEGLECT YOUR HAIR

            Treat your real hair as you would treat your natural hair. Never go weeks without washing & expect the same initial quality after excess dirt and build up.

            • USE A HEAT PROTECTANT 

            With any heat being used on the extensions a protectant shield is highly recommended for keeping the extensions same quality.

            • DON'T SCRATCH YOUR LACE

            Don't shy from patting your head or using the end of a rat tail comb for an itch relief being that scratching will cause balding and shedding that will leave you clueless as to where it came from. So don't scratch whatsoever.
